The Riky Rick Foundation, in proud partnership with Sandton City, has launched a transformative mental health awareness initiative titled “Words That Heal.” This campaign forms part of the Foundation’s ongoing mission to champion mental wellness and emotional support throughout the year.
Words That Heal is a heartfelt public awareness campaign aimed at promoting emotional, psychological, and social well-being. At its core, it encourages open expression, empathy, and human connection — reminding us that speaking out about our struggles is not a weakness, but a vital step toward healing.
The campaign invites individuals from all walks of life to share voice notes of encouragement and support for those silently facing mental health challenges. These messages — raw, real, and deeply human — aim to uplift, inspire, and remind listeners that they are not alone. Because sometimes, a single voice can make all the difference.
“Mental health is both deeply personal and universally important,” said a spokesperson from the Riky Rick Foundation. “With Words That Heal, we want to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
