Nigerian rising star Mavo has finally shed light on the true meaning of his viral street anthem, Shakabulizzy, in a lively new interview on Reprezent Radio.
The artist described the song as a metaphor for the hustle and pressure that come with trying to please a partner, especially during Nigeria’s famously extravagant December season, known in street slang as “Decembizzy.”
