Ardie leads revamped All Blacks

Scott Robertson has made three changes to his All Blacks starting XV and reconfigured his bench for the Murrayfield showdown against Scotland.

With captain Scott Barrett and vice-captain Jordie Barrett sidelined through injury, Josh Lord and Leicester Fainga’anuku have been called into the run-on side at lock and centre respectively.

The reshuffle sees Quinn Tupaea move to inside centre and Billy Proctor added to the bench, while Sam Darry comes in as second-row cover.

In the other change to the starting lineup, Wallace Sititi replaces Samipeni Finau at blindside flank, with Du’Plessis Kirifi joining the reserves.

Robertson says his players are motivated by the occasion and the challenge ahead.

“We are honoured to be part of the 100th anniversary of rugby at Murrayfield – it will be a special occasion. We have a proud history with Scotland and recent games between us have been close. We’ve named the best team to reflect the challenge we know Scotland will present.”
