Tony Dayimane Reveals Release Date for His Upcoming EP “Girls & MP3’s” Tony Dayimane has officially confirmed when fans can expect his next body of work. The Umlazi rap star revealed that his new EP titled Girls & MP3’s will arrive on 13 February 2026, perfectly timed to set the tone for Valentine’s weekend.
The announcement was shared through a post where Tony Dayimane previewed the project’s tracklist, including the emotional fan-favourite “9 Missed Calls” featuring Thathohatsi. Responding to a follower who asked whether the project would drop next year, Tony confirmed the exact date while also offering insight into the creative direction behind the EP.
In his message, Tony described Girls & MP3’s as a collection of pure love songs. He explained that the four new tracks follow the same heartfelt energy as “9 Missed Calls,” expressing moments of joy, heartbreak, longing, and reflection.
“Girls & MP3’s it’s just love songs, ngiyayikhalela. Songs I made ngijabule, ngikhungathekile and ngizisola,” he revealed. He added that dropping it the day before Valentine’s Day felt like the perfect moment, calling it “WHAT A TIMEEEEE!”
The EP is listed under Big Boy Records with distribution through MODAR / EMPIRE. It features five songs, all captured in lossless audio, making it a compact but emotion-packed release designed for easy replay.
Tony’s rollout also positions “9 Missed Calls” as a key single leading into the EP. The record, which has already stirred interest online, hints at the project’s central themes—romantic tension, complicated feelings, and vulnerability.
