“Going broke again. I made this video, then again I found myself with 3 days to Fill Up and going broke. Money dry, excited, tired, happy, sad. These are the emotions; this is what it takes to pull off something like this. Found myself in this position after a few years of not doing it. Im reminded of why I wanted to quit and why I keep saying this is my last one, it’s not easy.”

Promises, this is no entitlement speaking, but obviously, people promised a lot of stuff; unfortunately, they were not able to pull through. Fell short of some sponsorships, but the sponsors that came through have really helped. I dont want to mention them one by one because if I forget one, it might cause issues for me. But I just wanted to share this to say if I call you tomorrow and ask you to borrow me money, and you like what do you mean man, you just had a stadium full of people, dont be surprised,” Cassper said in a candid message posted ahead of the show.

Despite the behind-the-scenes strain, Cassper thanked the fans, his crew and partner brands for keeping the production alive. He singled out ticket buyers as a key source of hope and gratitude and praised companies that have remained patient when payments were delayed. Toyota South Africa is among the headline partners attached to the Fill Up brand this year.

Cassper described Fill Up as a humbling responsibility that pushes him to create “iconic moments” for the culture. He said this edition carries an added personal mission. “My main goal and reason is to create a platform to save souls. Funny that im a rapper and swear. But I can use my platform to share the gospel,” he said, promising that alongside entertainment, the night will include powerful spiritual moments that could “shift the realm.”

Cassper closed his message by asking fans for grace if he seems low in the final hours before the show and by promising an unforgettable night. “Saturday is going to be amazing,” he said, and added thanks to his team, Bridge Entertainment, dancers, the band and everyone who helped the event come together under difficult circumstances,
