Maglera Doe Boy Joins Ladipoe On New Single ‘Motho Waka.’ South African hip-hop powerhouse Maglera Doe Boy and Nigerian rap star Ladipoe have joined forces to deliver a fiery new single titled “Motho Waka,” released today across all streaming platforms.
This collaboration blends sharp lyricism, captivating rhythms, and cross-continental energy, pushing forward the exciting fusion of hip-hop and Amapiano sounds taking over the African music scene in 2026.
Maglera Doe Boy revealed the news through an engaging social media post, playfully naming the project “DOE & POE,” a nod to their stage names. Alongside the announcement, he shared exclusive behind-the-scenes moments from the music video shoot. Directed by @sniip3r_, the video premiered simultaneously on YouTube and showcases the duo performing amid the vibrant hustle of Computer Village in Lagos, Nigeria.
Maglera gave a special shoutout to the location, recalling how Ladipoe had him outside during his recent visit. “New Music out today. Motho Waka featuring Maglera Doe Boy is out now.
