Moozlie Celebrates Slikour’s Continued Innovation In Music & Media. South African media personality and former MTV Base VJ Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena recently took a moment on social media to celebrate a major achievement by her longtime friend and fellow creative force, Siyabonga “Slikour” Metane.

Over time, he shifted from performing to building platforms, launching Slikour On Life, a digital hub that later expanded into SOL Distro. This distribution platform focuses on giving African artists more control over their music, their data, and their independence.
As Music On Media begins to take shape, many in the industry see it as another important step in Metane’s mission to create opportunities for local talent. With African sounds such as amapiano gaining global recognition, platforms like this are helping shape how the continent’s music is shared and experienced.
