The Bloom Conversations With Sola 3.0 hosts 3rd Exclusive Gathering as a Safe Space for Professional Women

The Bloom Conversations with Sola, an initiative curated as a safe space for professional women—recently hosted its third exclusive gathering in Lekki, Lagos. The invitation-only event brought together 40 professional women from across diverse corporate sectors for a high-impact day dedicated to personal and career development.

Founded in 2023 by Oluwasola Obagbemi, the initiative was launched to provide support for women navigating the complexities of modern work-life integration. By fostering a community rooted in shared experience, the platform provides actionable insights to help participants thrive in a demanding professional ecosystem.

This year’s edition featured a powerhouse lineup of female executives who shared strategies for success. Mojisola Hunponu-Wosu, Founder and President of Woodhall Capital, delivered a compelling session on wealth creation as a corporate woman. She highlighted the necessity of women shifting their perspective from “income thinking” to “ownership thinking.”

“For too long, the corporate narrative for women has been centered on climbing the ladder for a better paycheck. To build a lasting legacy, women must move beyond the safety of a salary and embrace the mindset of an owner,” said Hunponu-Wosu. “It is about transitioning from being a participant in the economy to becoming a stakeholder. That is why gatherings like Bloom Conversations are key to learning about holistic stability, true wealth, and long-term independence.”

Moroti Adedoyin-Adeyinka, Executive Director of Financial Strategy at Sahara Group, commended the initiative and provided a tactical roadmap for navigating complex corporate environments. Her session emphasized the intersection of hard work and character building.

“Conversations like these are of the utmost importance for young corporate women because success in a complex world isn’t just about navigating the room; it’s about the substance you bring into it,” Adedoyin-Adeyinka noted. “Hard and smart work is crucial, but character is the compass. For corporate women to break through barriers, there must be as much intentionality about our integrity as there is about our technical delivery.”

The Convener, Oluwasola Obagbemi, opened the event by outlining the initiative’s long-term vision.

“The Bloom Conversations is creating a pipeline of women who are not only technically proficient but also emotionally and socially equipped to handle the pressures of the corporate world without losing their sense of self. Women are not made to be just one thing; women are made for more.”

This year’s session built on the success of past editions, which featured esteemed speakers such as Folake Soetan (CEO, Ikeja Electric) and Adenike Macaulay (CEO, Wakanow) for the 2.0 edition, as well as Audrey Joe-Ezigbo, Folake Sanu, and Nkiru Olumide-Ojo for the inaugural event.

The success of the event was supported by partners dedicated to female advancement, including BellaNaija, Providus Bank, Ego Foundation, Ify’s Kitchen, Dang, Johnvents Foods, Viva, Hair Harmony, Cakes by Debbie, Shea Tribe, Nvrbsc, Dios Dlite, and Hair Harmony. These partnerships reflect a growing corporate consensus: investing in female talent is not just a social good, but a necessity for national economic growth.
As International Women’s Month 2026 concludes, The Bloom Conversations remains committed to fostering a community where women can thrive, share experiences, and lead with confidence.
