Kearsney and DHS ended their Easter festivals on a high, while there were also notable wins for Affies and Westville on Monday.
Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival
The hosts made it three wins from three, beating Zwartkop 22-19 in the final match of the festival following wins against Rustenburg and Transvalia.
Zwartkop struck first with loosehead prop Matthew Smith bulldozing his way over the line following a powerful maul. The visitors doubled their lead after slippery winger Stiaan Botha danced his way through the Kearsney defence and dotted down.
Kearsney captain Nhlanhla Ndlovu reduced the deficit to 14-7 at the break and he powered over for his second after the restart to level the scores.
Ndlovu set up Kearsney’s third with an unselfish assist to winger Lwandle Mkize, before Daniel Miskey showed composure to slot a drop goal.
Richard Gyamfi and Nathan Aneke scored a brace of tries as DHS ran in seven to overpower Helpmekaar 39-22, while Westville hammered Milnerton 41-3, with Lisa Sijadu bagging a hat-trick.
In other results, Rustenburg beat Peterhouse 26-17, Glenwood edged EG Jansen 14-12 and Framesby held on to beat Transvalia 10-7.

Pretoria Boys’ High 125th Anniversary Easter Festival
A Joshua Gouws hat-trick and Dandre Brink brace sealed a 59-19 win for Affies against Grey High.
Michaelhouse, who beat Affies on Saturday, scored six tries in a thrilling 40-36 win against Jeppe.
An Alande Ngubane double saw Maritzburg College overpower SACS 26-7.
In other results, Rondebosch beat hosts Pretoria Boys’ 43-20, while Selborne beat Parktown Boys 26-5.

Hartpury College scored eight tries in a 54-21 win against Northcliff High, with Theo Rogers, Callum Lettie and James Siberry scoring two tries each, and Siberry adding 14 points from the tee.
Keanan Louw scored twice with MC-Rein van Wyk slotted six conversions as Windhoek High beat the Mzwandile Mali XV 47-35.
In other results, Kempton Park beat a Garsfontein Invitational XV 38-17 and Pietersburg outmatched St John’s Harare 38-18.
