Arsenal Football Club have been hit with a major injury worry to Ben White with less than two weeks to the end of the season.

Arsenal confirmed the extent of the injury in a statement which was released on its website.
“Assessments & specialist reviews have confirmed that Ben White has sustained a significant medial knee ligament injury, which will rule him out for the remainder of this season. Our medical team are now managing Ben’s recovery & rehabilitation programme, with everyone fully focused on supporting the aim of Ben being ready for the start of our pre-season preparations.”
What happened to Ben White?
The defender wqs substituted in the first half following a collision with Crysencio Summerville, and early reports suggest the issue could be a medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury.
Manager Mikel Arteta admitted after the match that the injury “doesn’t look good,” while White was later seen leaving the stadium wearing a knee brace. Several reports now claim the 28-year-old is expected to miss the remainder of the season, including Arsenal’s upcoming UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.
The injury is also a major concern for England national football team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. White had recently returned to the England setup under Thomas Tuchel after a long international absence, but his place in the squad is now in serious doubt depending on scan results and recovery.
