Coach Ivan van Rooyen has made several enforced changes to the Lions’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s clash against Munster at Thomond Park.
Sebastian Lombard starts at tighthead prop after Asenathi Ntlabakanye was hit with an 18-month doping ban on Wednesday.
Flank Ruan Venter was ruled out of the encounter after suffering a knee injury in the 31-7 loss to Leinster and is replaced by former Junior Boks star Batho Hlekani.
A further change to the pack sees Darrien Landsberg comes in for Etienne Oosthuizen in the second row.
In the only alteration to the backline, Kelly Mpeku replaces Erich Cronjé on the right wing after coming off the bench last week.
KEO: URC playoffs race full of permutations
