Scotland coach Gregor Townsend insists modern players are better prepared than ever for the demands of international travel.
His side gears up for a globe-trotting route that culminates in a Test against the Springboks at Loftus Versfeld before heading back to home comforts.
The Scots face one of the most demanding stretches of their Nations Championship campaign, with preparations beginning in Spain before a Test against Argentina in Cordoba and then a long-haul trip to Pretoria to face the world champions on 11 July.

The journey will see Scotland cross multiple continents and time zones before arriving at Loftus, where they must contend not only with the Springboks but also the challenges posed by altitude.
Townsend, however, is confident his squad can cope.
“In terms of the travel, I think the players are more used to it than ever,” Townsend told the BBC Radio Scotland Rugby Podcast.
“Especially guys playing in the URC and now in Europe. You get English teams going out to South Africa and have to play a game the week later.
“A lot of planning has gone into making it as efficient as possible, making sure we get the recovery right.”
