Wales blood quartet before Bok showdown

Four uncapped players have been named on Wales’ bench for Saturday’s match against the Barbarians at Twickenham on Saturday.

They are loosehead prop Rhys Barratt, tighthead prop Ben Warren, lock Ryan Woodman and loose forward Harrison Keddie.

Meanwhile, starting lock Teddy Williams makes his return to the red jersey for the first time this season following injury.

Hooker Dewi Lake will captain Wales in the non-cap clash.

“We’ve had a good block of training building towards this game and are excited to get our summer underway on Saturday,” said coach Steve Tandy.

“I’m delighted for Rhys, Ben, Ryan and Harrison, who are all in line to make their first senior appearance for Wales.”

The match serves as preparation for Wales’ Nations Championship campaign in July.

They host Fiji at the Cardiff City Stadium on 4 July before taking on Argentina in San Juan a week later and the Springboks in Durban on 18 July.
