The achievement was shared on X, where Belo posted screenshots of the streaming numbers alongside an emotional message that surprised fans. Instead of simply celebrating the milestone, he revealed that he has quietly stepped away from making music.

“I’ve lowkey packed it up wit da muzick now fr but I’m grateful 4 it all … Greatfully CHÖZEN now,” he wrote, describing his decision as a graceful exit rather than a dramatic farewell.

For Belo Salo, the success of Made It Out means far more than impressive streaming figures. The record captures one of the most memorable periods of his creative life and represents a dream he had long envisioned becoming reality.

Reflecting on the song’s creation, he recalled spending time in Bryanston with A-Reece and producer 808x after listening to what he considers one of the greatest mixtapes of the era, TTTM. The excitement from that moment, paired with a memorable meal from Rickelle (A-Reece’s wife), carried into the recording session that ultimately produced the track.
