The Springboks have confirmed an expected lineup alteration ahead of Saturday’s Nations Championship clash against Scotland at Loftus Versfeld.
Canan Moodie has been ruled out with an injury niggle, with Ethan Hooker replacing him on the left wing.
Rapport had speculated on Friday that the 2023 World Cup winner was an injury doubt for the Pretoria showdown, raising the possibility of a late change to Rassie Erasmus’ match 23.

The world champions were dealt two major injury blows on the eve of last week’s victory over England, when Siya Kolisi (hamstring) and Eben Etzebeth (concussion) were both withdrawn.
Kolisi is expected to return for next Saturday’s meeting with Wales in Durban.
Hooker had been on track to be fit for the Wales Test after recovering from a shoulder injury suffered while playing for the Sharks in April.
He last played for the Boks against Wales in Cardiff on 29 November, where he featured on the right wing.
