Flyhalf Jaydon Viljoen scored 21 points as the SA U18 As ended the U18 International Series unbeaten after a big win against France U18 at Stellenberg High on Saturday.
The hosts led 27-21 at half-time before pulling away after the break to secure a 51-26 victory. The result followed earlier wins over Ireland and Georgia.
The South Africans made a fast start, racing into a 21-0 lead midway through the first half. Linakho Mehlomakulu, Max Malan and Lucritia Magau crossed the whitewash, with Viljoen converting all three.

France responded strongly, scoring three converted tries through Philippe Roudaut, Sacha Codorniou and Arthur Noel. Jehlani Trillon added the conversions to bring the visitors back into contention.
Viljoen then added a long-range penalty before dropping a goal to ensure South Africa retained a six-point advantage at the break.
The hosts returned from half-time with renewed energy and quickly regained control through two long-range tries. Viljoen crossed first before replacement Thomas Saunders finished another attacking move from distance. Viljoen converted both to stretch the lead to 41-21.

South Africa continued to press and Rufagon Hendricks sprinted clear to score in the right-hand corner with 10 minutes remaining.
France added a late consolation try, but Ruan Genis had the final say when he crossed for South Africa’s seventh try.
