Springbok skipper Siya Kolisi and loosehead prop Ox Nché are nursing injury niggles and doubtful to face the All Blacks in Saturday’s Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry opener.
Kolisi came off early against Los Pumas in Buenos Aires two weeks ago after injuring his other hamstring, having only just returned from a hamstring issue that ruled him out of the Nations Championship.
Nché missed the trip to Argentina after hurting his knee against England on 4 July.

During Monday’s media engagement ahead of this week’s much-anticipated clash at Ellis Park, Rassie Erasmus provided an update on the injured pair.
The Bok boss was more upbeat on the availability of fellow World Cup winner Franco Mostert, who hasn’t played since the season-opening win over the Barbarians on 20 June due to an ankle issue.
“Sous [Mostert] is really looking well, he’s looking good. Injuries, there are probably only two doubtful players,” Erasmus told reporters.
“Siya and Ox, I wouldn’t say they’re still injured … I think it’s niggles. If they get through today it probably might be good for us. Apart from that, there’s nobody else.”
