Seven Springboks have been named in a Sanzaar Team of the Week following the No 1-ranked team’s 33-26 win over the All Blacks in Cape Town on Saturday.
RugbyPass compiled a combined XV from the weekend’s two southern hemisphere Tests, with South Africa and New Zealand’s second Test clash in the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry joined by the Wallabies’ 27-21 victory over Los Pumas in Argentina.
The Boks dominated the selections as prop hooker Malcolm Marx, lock Eben Etzebeth, flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit, wingers Ethan Hooker and Cheslin Kolbe and props Ox Nché and Thomas du Toit were all included.

Marx made a telling impact after coming off the bench, while Thomas du Toit stood his ground in a scrum contest that improved significantly after Nché’s introduction as a 36th minute substitute.
Etzebeth produced another massive performance, the lock enforcer making 20 tackles, carrying 10 times and five lineout takes.
Playing his 100th Test, Du Toit added 18 tackles and provided important leadership after taking over the captaincy from Siya Kolisi, who received a special mention.

Hooker stood up superbly against Kiwi flyer Will Jordan, dominating the aerial contest and making several important defensive interventions.
Two-time World Cup winner Kolbe proved his class, maintaining a 100% kicking record in the series while constantly troubling the All Blacks with his work rate.
