Five Springboks have been named in the Sharks match-day squad for Friday night’s pre-season clash against the SWD Eagles in George.
Loosehead prop Vincent Koch, openside flank Phepsi Buthelezi, scrumhalf Ivan van Zyl, flyhalf Vusi Moyo and winger Makazole Mapimpi all start, while utility back Jaden Hendrikse is on an extended bench.
Winger Suleiman Hartzenberg, who has been loaned to the Sharks by the Stormers, where he amassed 61 caps, is also among the replacements.
Friday’s match will kick-off at 7pm and won’t be televised.

The Sharks also have a pre-season fixture against the Lions at Ellis Park on Friday, 11 September (3pm) ahead of their opening Vodacom URC match against the Ospreys at Kings Park on Saturday, 26 September.
