All Blacks loose forward Wallace Sititi can’t wait to make a big impact if he gets the chance to clash with the Springboks at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
World Rugby’s 2024 Breakthrough Player of the Year Sititi is set to make his first Test appearance of the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series as a replacement.
The 23-year-old’s last meeting with the Boks was the All Blacks’ record 43-10 defeat in Wellington last year.

“Whenever I’m out there, there’s always a point to prove,” Sititi was quoted by Rugby365 during an Adidas and Atlas Foundation community event this week.
“The way we play rugby, we have a chip on our shoulders, and we go out there, and we have some fun and try to have an impact on the game.
“That’s always the mindset, and hopefully it will be a better night out than what we saw in Wellington.”

Sititi will share a historic occasion with his sister Amarante, who will represent the Black Ferns against the Springbok Women in a curtain-raiser at the Calabash.
The siblings will both wear No 20 and become the first brother and sister to represent New Zealand against South African opposition on the same day since 1998.
