Nasty C Leaves The Door Open For More Amapiano & A Kabza De Small Collaboration. Nasty C is keeping his musical options open. The South African hip-hop heavyweight has revealed that he has already experimented with amapiano and is not opposed to exploring the genre further, including the possibility of working with Kabza De Small.

During an interview with SA Hip Hop Mag, the Ivyson rapper was asked whether he and his camp would consider venturing into amapiano. Rather than ruling it out, Nasty C pointed to his previous experience with the sound and suggested that more could come in the future.
“I have done it,” Nasty C said. “I did a collab tape with Lekka, and it was definitely fun to do. I don’t want to say no, because then you might end up seeing me doing it again. I don’t know, man.”
For Nasty C, the connection to amapiano is not simply about experimenting with another popular sound. He has developed genuine relationships with artists from the scene and says he enjoys spending time in the studio with them.
“There are a lot of amapiano artists I’m a fan of, people I’m cool with in real life and love being in the studio with,” he added.
One name that immediately stands out is Kabza De Small, whom Nasty C described as an exceptionally talented artist. The rapper even entertained the possibility of the two eventually sharing a studio, with the resulting record potentially leaning more toward amapiano than hip-hop.
“Kabza, for instance. He’s incredibly talented. I don’t know if people are aware of that. Obviously they are; that’s a joke. But yeah, you never know. I might be in the studio with him, and it might not be a hip-hop song. It could be amapiano. I really don’t know.” Nasty C added.
