Flash Ikumkani Reveals Extent Of Emtee’s Presence On Upcoming Album. Flash Ikumkani is giving fans another reason to keep an eye on his forthcoming album, with the rapper confirming fresh collaborations connected to Emtee Records.
The Peelton-born rapper, real name Hlumile Mangoloti, revealed that the upcoming project will feature two songs with Emtee Records. “I have two songs with @emteerecords on my upcoming album @pika_records,” he wrote.
The announcement further strengthens his creative relationship with Emtee and his camp, following previous collaborations that produced tracks such as the million-plus-streamed “Mama,” produced by Young2unnBeats, and “Ndiyabulela.”
Flash Ikumkani has built his reputation around authentic isiXhosa lyricism, vivid storytelling and a sound that reflects his Eastern Cape roots while making room for English flows. His catalogue includes projects such as iQhawe, Utshintsho, Isibane Selali and the 2025 album Die Hard, all of which have contributed to his identity as one of the distinctive voices in South African hip-hop.
