Cassper Celebrates His Son’s 6th Birthday With Superhero-Themed Tribute. Cassper Nyovest marked his son Khotso’s sixth birthday with a sweet superhero-themed tribute, giving fans a glimpse into a special family moment away from the rapper’s busy music career.
The “Doc Shebeleza” hitmaker took to social media to celebrate his son, affectionately referring to him as “Spider-Man” in a heartfelt birthday message. “Happy birthday to the most amazing son in the world. Khotso Izwe Simba Phoolo aka Spider-Man,” Cassper wrote.
The post featured a video of Khotso celebrating his big day while dressed up in his favourite superhero persona. The young boy recreated Spider-Man’s iconic upside-down pose before blowing out the candles on his birthday cake as the theme music from Spider-Man 3 played in the background.
The superhero nickname appears to have become a familiar part of Khotso’s identity among fans. His mother, Thobeka “Bexx” Majozi, has previously shared moments of him enjoying himself in Spider-Man costumes.
Born on 12 September 2020, Khotso is Cassper’s son with Majozi. His name also carries family significance. “Khotso” was chosen in honour of Cassper’s late older brother, while “Simba” connects to the rapper’s long-standing Mufasa persona, inspired by The Lion King. “Izwe”, meaning “the world” or “nation”, was chosen by his mother.
Fatherhood has remained an important part of Cassper’s public journey, with the rapper frequently sharing moments that highlight his relationship with his children.
Khotso also became a big brother in December 2025 when Cassper and his wife, Pulane, welcomed their daughter, Naledi.
The birthday tribute gave fans a rare glimpse of Cassper in full dad mode, with the focus firmly on his son and the joy of celebrating another year of Khotso’s life.
