Defending champions Leinster have lost two members of the Irish outfit’s touring squad to injury for Saturday’s URC showdown with the Sharks at Kings Park in Durban.
Loose forward Max Deegan and flyhalf Harry Byrne were both concussed in last week’s 27-26 loss to the Lions at Ellis Park and will go through the return-to-play protocol, ruling them out for the fixture.

In a further update on Monday, Leinster head coach Leo Cullen noted that scrumhalf Cormac Foley (calf) nears his return to play, while Josh Ericson will be further assessed for a neck injury.
Cullen gave no new information on Jack Boyle, RG Snyman, Caelan Doris, Paddy McCarthy, Jamison Gibson-Park, Jordan Larmour, Diarmuid Mangan or James Culhane.
