Sharks No 8 Nick Hatton says he can’t wait to play alongside Manie Libbok next season.
The Durban-based club on Thursday announced that the 34-Test cap, World Cup-winning Springbok flyhalf would return to Durban after completing the 2026-27 Japan Rugby League One season with the Kintetsu Liners.
Libbok previously had a stint with the Sharks in 2020 and 2021 before joining the Stormers.

The 29-year-old is one of the most creative attacking playmakers in South African rugby and brings plenty of experience to JP Pietersen’s squad.
“It’s super exciting news for the club, getting someone like Manie,” Hatton said.
“His game speaks for itself. He’s a World Cup winner and look at everything he’s achieved with the Springboks. He’s a quality player, a class player.
“We’re really excited to have him on board next season.”
