Wales coach Steve Tandy has tweaked his backline for Saturday’s Nations Championship Test against Japan in Cardiff.
Eddie James and Max Llewellyn will start in midfield, becoming Wales’ third different centre combination in four Tests.
James retains the No 13 jersey, having previously partnered Joe Hawkins and Ben Thomas, as Tandy continues to search for his preferred midfield pairing.
In the other change to the starting backline that suffered a 43-0 defeat to the Springboks in July, Sam Costelow wears the No 10 jersey with Dan Edwards on the bench.

Wales, who are fifth on the northern hemisphere standings, also host the All Blacks and Wallabies this month.
