One of the worst-performing teams in the 2024 Super Rugby has decided to cut ties with its coach at the end of the season.
The Waratahs announced on Monday that the Australian side will part ways with head coach Darren Coleman at the end of this season after a torrid campaign.
Coleman “will remain as head coach for the final two matches of the 2024 season”, the club stated, but his contract “will not be extended”.

The Sydney-based outfit have won two of 12 games this season and sit bottom of the Super Rugby table.
TheTahs have been hit by a string of front-row injuries but Coleman has paid the price and will depart after three years in charge.
“The process to identify and appoint a new head coach of the Waratahs for the 2025 season and beyond has now officially commenced,” the club said.
