This discussion has also sparked a similar dialogue within South African hip-hop, with numerous names being considered for the title of the country’s top three rappers. During a Podcast And Chill interview, the SA Hip Hop DJ was prompted to reveal his current top three South African rappers. Without hesitation, he clearly articulated his preferences in the current hip-hop landscape

“Excluding Emtee, I would say Lucasraps, I would say The Big Hash, and Saudi,” YungSeruno said.
Despite omitting several prominent rappers from his list, he emphasized that his selections were purely based on personal preference. However, he made it clear that he holds all the top rappers in South Africa in high regard. “I f*k with everyone, it’s like a preference,” he added.

Ever since he got signed at Emtee Records, YungSeruno has been very much visible in the SA Hip Hop space with a recent release titled “OUT DE MUD” featuring Blxckie and Shouldbeyuang. The famed DJ is also preparing for a new album released which has been slated to drop in June 2024.
