Chelsea Football Club have confirmed the squad numbers of some of its players as they look forward to the start of the 2024/25 season.
The Blues took to its official website on Monday, July 15, 2024, to announce the number of some of its players while it waits to decide on the future of some of the others before giving them a jersey number. Chelsea also confirmed that the full list of the players’ squad numbers will be announced later in the summer which is most likely before the new season officially kicks off.
Ahead of the club’s 2024/25 summer tour in the USA, Levi Colwill have taken the No.6 shirt which was worn last season by Thiago Silva, while Wesley Fofana has decided to take the No.29 which was worn by Kai Havertz in the past.
Summer signing Tosin Adarabioyo will begin with the No.4 shirt while the other new arrival, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City will wear No.22, which he donned during the previous four seasons with the Foxes.
Chelsea’s latest additions to the team, Omari Kellyman, Marc Guiu, and Renato Veiga will initially take on the numbers 37, 38 and 40.
