Wandisile Simelane’s late try in rainy Pretoria helped the Stormers beat the Vodacom Bulls in a tense North-South derby on Saturday.
The fleet-footed outside centre, who joined the Stormers from the Bulls in January 2024, struck in the 67th minute — pouncing on a Jurie Matthee up-and-under after Warrick Gelant’s clever tap-back.

Matthee added the extras for a personal 14-point haul, and Man of the Match Evan Roos’ last-gasp breakdown heroics secured a 19-16 win for the Cape visitors at a soaked Loftus.
Ending a four-game slump, the Stormers reignited their Vodacom URC playoff hopes while the Bulls’ SA Shield charge took a hit in a wet and fiery Highveld battle.
