Blue Pappi & Young Stunna Speak On The Inspiration Behind “Imali Entsha – G-Mix.” South Africa’s hip hop landscape is heating up with the release of “Imali Entsha – G-Mix,” a dynamic remix featuring Blue Pappi and Amapiano star Young Stunna.

Released on February 20, 2026, through Gatvol Agency and produced by Teekay Beatz, the track reworks Blue Pappi’s original “Imali Entsha”, adding fresh momentum and a powerful collaboration that celebrates ambition, success, and newly earned wealth.
Speaking in a recent interview, Blue Pappi offered a simple and honest explanation when asked about the inspiration behind the song and why he decided to create a G-Mix version.
“The only inspiration for this song is imali entsha,” he said with a smile. “And the reason why I feel like G Mix.”
The phrase “imali entsha,” which means “new money” in Zulu, sits at the heart of the record. The track embraces the idea of levelling up, celebrating victories, and enjoying the rewards that come with hard work and progress. It is a theme that continues to resonate with listeners across the country.
The collaboration itself grew out of genuine admiration rather than just musical convenience. Young Stunna, widely known for his melodic style and major influence in the Amapiano movement, shared that his connection to Blue Pappi and his collective made the partnership feel natural.
“I’m a big fan of The Qwellers,” Stunna said. “I’m sure you all know by now that I’m really tapped in. I’ve been a big fan, and I’m still going to work on music with The Qwellers. They are family.”
He also highlighted that the appeal extended beyond the music. “Besides the music, I love the energy and the life they bring to the people around them,” he explained. “It’s not just because of the music that I worked with them. With Blue Pappi, it’s because of his energy around people and the respect he shows others.”
Blue Pappi is one of the standout members of the rising hip hop collective The Qwellers. The group has been gaining recognition for their sharp lyricism, collaborative spirit, and storytelling rooted in real South African experiences. Through the collective, Blue Pappi has already appeared on tracks with artists such as LaCabra and Lowfeye, steadily building his reputation as a voice to watch in the scene.
