The blockbuster Vodacom URC derby between the Bulls and Stormers has been moved from its original festive-season slot to Saturday, 14 March 2026.
The Pretoria franchise confirmed on Wednesday that the fixture had initially been set for 27 December 2025 at Loftus Versfeld, but will now take place later in the season as part of a revised URC schedule.
Ludwig: Bulls have big desire to bounce back
As a result, the Bulls will enjoy a week’s break over the Christmas period, following their clash with the Sharks in Durban on 19 December. John Ackermann’s men will then kick off the new year away to the Stormers in Cape Town on 3 January.
The last time the two South African powerhouses met was on 1 March 2025, when the Bulls edged the Stormers 19–16 in a tense encounter at Loftus Versfeld.
Meanwhile, the Lions’ home clash against the Sharks on 27 December remains unchanged.
The Bulls announced the fixture change in a statement on their official website.
