Cynthia Morgan calls out Peter Okoye over involvement in family feud

Singer Cynthia Morgan has reacted strongly after being mentioned by Peter Okoye of the defunct P-Square group during his recent online tirade against his brothers, Jude and Paul Okoye.

Peter, in a social media outburst over their ongoing legal dispute, accused his siblings and their publicist of plotting to damage his reputation. In defending his stance, he stated, “I am not May D or Cynthia Morgan,” suggesting that unlike those artists, he wouldn’t allow himself to be discredited or mistreated.

However, the comment did not sit well with Cynthia Morgan. The dancehall artist took to her Instagram story to express her displeasure at being dragged into a personal family issue. Cynthia Morgan criticized Peter Okoye for mentioning her name, especially considering how she felt abandoned during her past fallout with Jude Okoye, who previously managed her under Northside Entertainment.

“I have mixed feelings about my name popping up like this. I am not a weak person. Certain family members made it look so… you @peterpsquare included… until you discovered what they were doing to you too. Na me listen to una sha,” Cynthia wrote.

The exchange has since reignited conversations about past controversies surrounding P-Square’s split and the treatment of artists formerly signed to their label.
