England coach Steve Borthwick has made six changes to his starting XV but kept faith in a 6-2 bench for Sunday’s encounter against Argentina at Twickenham.
The headline selection is the return of experienced utility back Elliot Daly, who starts on the left wing in what will be his first appearance since fracturing his forearm on the British & Irish Lions tour to Australia in July.
Daly replaces Tom Roebuck, while Immanuel Feyi-Waboso shifts across to the right wing and Freddie Steward retains the No 15 jersey.
In the backline, Henry Slade returns at outside centre, taking over from Ollie Lawrence, and forms a midfield pairing with Fraser Dingwall.
George Ford and Ben Spencer continue as the halfback combination, offering stability after steering England to victory over the All Blacks last week.

Up front, Borthwick has completely reshuffled his front row. Ellis Genge, Luke Cowan-Dickie and Asher Opoku-Fordjour all start, replacing Fin Baxter, Joe Heyes and Jamie George respectively.
The rest of the pack remains unchanged, with captain Maro Itoje partnering Alex Coles in the second row, while Ben Earl, Sam Underhill and Guy Pepper make up a dynamic loose trio.
Borthwick has once again opted for a heavy forward bench, naming Theo Dan, Baxter, Will Stuart, Charlie Ewels, Tom Curry, and Henry Pollock as reinforcements up front. Scrumhalf Alex Mitchell and playmaker Marcus Smith provide the only backline cover.

“Last weekend gave us plenty to build on,” Borthwick said. “Argentina play with emotion and physicality … We know how dangerous they can be, and we are preparing for a fiercely contested Test match.”
