Afrobeats megastar Davido has been announced as one of the headlining performers at this year’s Soundstorm Festival, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 11 to 13, 2025.
The three-day event is recognized as one of the largest music festivals in the Middle East, drawing some of the biggest names in global entertainment.
This year’s lineup boasts a star-studded mix of international acts, including Cardi B, Post Malone, Young Thug, Lil Yachty, Tyla, Metro Boomin, DJ Snake, and more, promising an unforgettable weekend of music and culture.
Davido’s inclusion in the 2025 edition marks another major milestone for Afrobeats on the global stage. His participation follows that of fellow Nigerian superstar Wizkid, who headlined the Soundstorm Festival in 2023, a performance widely praised for spotlighting African music’s growing influence worldwide.
Since its inception, Soundstorm has built a reputation as a global melting pot for diverse genres, featuring artists like Travis Scott, Eminem, Calvin Harris, and Wizkid, among others. Meanwhile, Davido is preparing to wrap up the year with his much-anticipated 5ive tour across Nigeria. The stadium tour, named after his fifth studio album, will kick off in October and make stops in major cities including Uyo, Yola, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos.
His latest album 5ive features an impressive lineup of collaborations with artists such as Omah Lay, Victony, Odumodublvck, Chike, Musa Keys, YG Marley, Victoria Monét, Chris Brown, and Becky G. The project has already produced fan favorites like Funds, Awuke, 10 Kilo, Offa Me, and With You.
