Recently, the famed DJ revealed that he has songs with AKA, Riky Rick and Costa but they won’t be on his forthcoming album. “I’ve got 2 but they not gonna be on the album, unfortunately. I’ve got 1 with Riky & 1 with Costa which also didn’t make it on the album. We made a lot in the lockdown. They sound old now. I’ll keep those in the vault for memories,” Speedsta said.
The Mayo hitmaker’s comments sparked outrage among some of his followers. One fan remarked that he shouldn’t release the album if it doesn’t include the music he made with the late South African rappers. “It’s either you add those songs or you keep the album to yourself. We are giving you another chance to shine and wena you want to waste it,” read the post.
In response, DJ Speedsta called out one of his followers to shut up and wait for the album’s release on the 6th of September. “The album is coming on 6 Sept. Just shut up! You’ll be listening to it! You can say whatever you want, Nobody is giving you anything in terms of hip hop in SA,” Speedsta said.
