Emtee Records Touts All-Female Album For Rising Star BABYGRLZAE. Emtee Records has confirmed that BABYG!RL ZAE is preparing to release her highly anticipated album MATR!ARCHY on November 7, 2025.
The label teased the project with a post reading, “Up Nex! An all-women body of work is crazy. Don’t blink. Watch this space. S/O to the ladies on the project,” hinting at a groundbreaking collaboration across the female music community.
Speaking about the project, BABYG!RL ZAE shared, “This project is the first project that I’ve made this way, not only is it my opinions and views on topics, but it’s topics given to me by other women through sharing their stories, beliefs, experiences and thoughts about womanhood. I sat down with several women who I interviewed; they gave me clarity on the direction this project was headed, their stories inspired me and that led to the themes of each song being explored.
“After the topics were set in stone, it was time to bring in other female artists who could voice their opinions and share a side of them that they may have kept to themselves. It was a safe space to open up and be vulnerable, as well as empowering other women to be truly themselves and show them that they are powerful and stronger than they think.
“I couldn’t have made this project come to life without the women involved, and I am beyond grateful for each and every one of you! To the beautiful, inspiring, uplifting and motivating album “MATR!ARCHY” dropping on the 7th of November! Ladies, your voices are heard, you are seen, and you are not alone! Let’s rebuild sisterhood and appreciate our womanhood,” she said.
MATR!ARCHY is set to be more than a solo album. BABYG!RL ZAE has built it around stories and experiences shared by women, creating themes for each song that explore womanhood from multiple perspectives. She also invited other female artists to contribute, giving the album a collaborative and empowering spirit.
