Some of South Africa’s top schoolboy rugby talent will be in action against touring teams from England and Scotland when Grey College hosts the inaugural NextGenXV Global Schools Challenge in Bloemfontein on Saturday, writes ALLAN SCHULZ.
The Premier Schools competition sees Grey College, Grey High and Oakdale taking on Strathallan School from Scotland and Denstone College from England, as well as an U18 invitational team from Hamilton Rugby Club on three matchdays between 14-18 December.
The hosts will be without star SA Schools lock AJ Meyer who is recovering from injury as they look to put a marker down for the 2025 schoolboy season against foreign opposition.
All matches will be streamed live on the SuperSport Schools app.
