Introducing Geoffrey Kasangaki, Incoming CEO

Asante Africa Foundation is excited to announce key leadership changes as part of our 2025 Strategic Plan, aimed at strengthening the organization’s long-term stability, impact, and operational safety. These transitions are aligned with our commitment to enhancing governance, resource optimization, and program scalability, ensuring we can continue to serve youth across East Africa more effectively.

We are proud to announce Geoffrey Kasangaki as the next CEO of Asante Africa Foundation. Geoffrey, who has served as Deputy CEO since 2023 and has been with the organization for seven years, brings deep experience, strategic vision, and a proven track record of leadership. We are confident that under Geoffrey’s guidance, Asante Africa will reach new heights and continue building on our collective achievements.

More About Geoffrey Kasangaki

In his prior capacity as the Deputy CEO Strategic Program Development and Impact at Asante Africa Foundation he has played a key role in driving strategic program initiatives and ensuring operational excellence. Geoffrey was instrumental in achieving significant milestones for Asante Africa Foundation, through the toughest of times during the pandemic notably when he led an initiative that supported over 1,000 children to remain on the path of learning through Community Learning Groups (CLGs) during the longest 18 months Covid longest lockdown in Uganda and ensuring their safe return upon reopening of schools

With a wealth of experience in the education sector, Geoffrey co-founded the organization’s Uganda chapter and previously served as the Country Director overseeing and navigating partnerships with Government the Ministry of Education and Sports which reviewed and approved all organizational content as acceptable support material in schools and the Ministry of Gender, Labor and Social Development with active memorandum of understanding. 

Geoffrey’s academic achievements include an MBA from Uganda Christian University, a Bachelor of Information Systems from Makerere University, an international diploma in Leadership and Management from Luxury Academy London, and an international certification in Monitoring and Evaluation from the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization in Turin, Italy. 

Committed to professional growth, he is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership at the Quantic School of Business and Technology in Washington DC. Outside of his professional endeavors, Geoffrey is an active Rotarian, a Gratitude Network Fellow and actively involved in community service and humanitarian projects. He is also a passionate coffee farmer, dedicated to sustainable agriculture practices. Geoffrey values his role as a family man, finding balance between his personal and professional life.
