No one called to open a negotiation. I am sorry but they’d have to call before I can say anything. It didn’t happen”.
Klopp stepped away from Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season after a highly successful spell that saw him deliver major trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League. Since then, he has consistently emphasised his desire to rest and recharge after years of intense management at the highest level.
Despite the links to one of Europe’s biggest clubs, Klopp’s stance suggests that Real Madrid may have to look elsewhere if they decide to make a managerial change in the near future.
