Rising South African rapper K1llbrady has firmly rejected DJ Speedsta’s recent public apology and invitation to squash their ongoing differences, delivering a short and decisive response that leaves little room for immediate peace talks.

Following Speedsta’s on-record plea to sit down with both K1llbrady and Blxckie, move past the tension, and focus on pushing the culture forward, the young artist took to social media with a simple yet pointed reply: “Nahhh we good.”

The curt message signals that K1llbrady is not interested in pursuing reconciliation at this stage, despite Speedsta’s repeated apologies across multiple podcasts where he admitted starting the conflict and regretting his choice of words.

Speedsta had expressed fatigue with the escalating drama, stating it had grown messy and boring. He openly took accountability, saying he did not like carrying heavy energy and extending an olive branch for a chill session with both artists to prioritise unity in the South African hip-hop scene.

The conflict traces back to late 2025 when Blxckie declined an invitation to appear for a freestyle segment on Speedsta’s popular radio show on 5FM. The rap star explained that the timing clashed with his album campaign and personal projects, a decision he handled politely.

Speedsta, however, viewed the refusal as disrespectful and aired his frustrations publicly on podcasts and social media. He claimed Blxckie had “done nothing” noteworthy that year despite his growing profile, a comment widely seen as a jab at the younger generation’s independence.

The criticism soon broadened to include K1llbrady. Speedsta reportedly advised fellow DJs against spinning tracks by either artist on his influential Hip Hop Floor radio segment, citing concerns over their branding, stage names, and overall approach to the culture.

What began as professional shade escalated into heated online exchanges, memes, and personal shots. At one point, K1llbrady allegedly accused Speedsta of cocaine use during a live back-and-forth, a claim the veteran strongly denied and later threatened to pursue legally as defamation.
