Louis Bielle-Biarrey is eyeing Brian O’Driscoll’s all-time Six Nations try-scoring record after another prolific campaign for France, writes LINDIZ VAN ZILLA.
The 22-year-old wing has scored 18 tries across three tournaments, leaving him eight behind the O’Driscoll’s 26.
Remarkably, Bielle-Biarrey has reached his tally in only 14 Six Nations matches, while O’Driscoll, a centre, scored his in 63 matches.
Bielle-Biarrey is tied fifth on the all-time Six Nations try-scoring list along with Englishmen Rory Underwood and Cyril Lowe, as well as Welsh legend Gareth Edwards.
Ahead of them are Shane Williams (22), George North (23), Ian Smith (24) and O’Driscoll.
