Liverpool reportedly finds a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool Football Club have started planning for life without Trent Alexander-Arnold when the season 2025/26 season begins.

The Reds are reportedly looking at the possibility of bringing in Jeremy Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen. The player has emerged as a favorite for the Reds as they are looking for a new addition on their right-hand side.

Transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news of Jeremy Frimpong replacing Trent Alexander-Arnold on his official social media accounts. According to him, Liverpool are in talks with the player and Bayer Leverkusen for a proposed move.

Bayer Leverkusen’s release clause for Frimpong has been placed at £30 million which is not an issue for the Premier League Champions. However, Liverpool are looking at a possibility of paying the fee in four installments paying £7.5 million each within the stipulated time.

He would bring a huge experience from the Bundesliga, the Champions League and as a teammate of Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Cody Gakpo with the Netherlands.
