Stormers flyhalf Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu was among the standout performers in the second round of the Investec Champions Cup.
The 23-year-old pulled the strings in the Stormers’ 42-21 win over La Rochelle at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, assisting four tries – more than any other player across the weekend – as the Cape side surged to the top of Pool 3.
Round two delivered no shortage of drama across Europe and South Africa.
The Glasgow Warriors produced a comeback for the ages against Toulouse at Scotstoun, Bordeaux Bègles hammered the Scarlets at home to underline their title credentials, while the Northampton Saints flexed their attacking muscle against the Vodacom Bulls at Franklin’s Gardens. In Durban, the Sharks beat Saracens to get their campaign on track.
