Multi-talented rapper and South African Hip Hop Award nominee Stilo Magolide reveals a deeply soulful and introspective side with his latest single, “Kenny G”, lifted from his highly anticipated upcoming album STILOWAY, set for release later this month.
Written as an intimate reflection of his relationship and personal growth, “Kenny G” captures Stilo’s journey through love, vulnerability, and emotional evolution. The song features Sastii, whose smooth vocals add warmth and texture, and Ekow Saxx, whose live saxophone performance breathes life into the track — perfectly echoing the romantic sophistication of the jazz legend it’s named after.
“I wrote this song as an expression of where I am with my current partner and relationship,” says Stilo. “I wanted to tell that story in a way that’s emotionally honest and mature. If you listen to Kenny G’s music, you’ll understand the calmness, the grace — the kind of maturity I’m trying to channel.”
The single opens with a rich, velvety saxophone note, immediately setting a tone of intimacy and depth. The first verse, with the line:
