Stogie T’s “Four Horsemen” Lands Metro FM Best Hip Hop Nomination. South African hip-hop veteran Stogie T (Boitumelo Molekane) has earned a prestigious nomination for his powerful track “Four Horsemen” in the Best Hip Hop category at the 2026 Metro FM Music Awards.
The track, released in late 2025 as part of Stogie T’s project ANOMY, brings together some of the genre’s most respected voices: Nasty C, A-Reece, Maggz, with production by Homage. Critics and fans alike have praised the song as a cinematic milestone in South African hip-hop, combining sharp lyricism with thematic depth that explores power, culture, and restoration. Each verse highlights the unique strengths of the featured artists, creating a dynamic and unforgettable collaboration.
In an Instagram post sharing the news, Stogie T expressed heartfelt gratitude to his collaborators, writing that their “craft, discipline, and spirit” were essential to shaping the song in ways no one could have achieved alone. He also thanked his management team, engineers, musicians, family, friends, and the wider hip-hop community, including artists, DJs, writers, promoters, listeners, and critics, for keeping the culture alive through engagement and support.
The rapper acknowledged Metro FM for its dedication to promoting South African hip-hop and invited fans to cast their votes. “If the song moved you, I humbly ask for your vote,” he wrote. “Listener participation gives life to music beyond the studio, and I do not take that lightly.”
True to his reflective style, Stogie T offered insight into awards and recognition. He emphasised that nominations are an honour but do not define him. “My real victory is salvation and seeking to live as an obedient child under His authority,” he said. “Music, recognition, and opportunity are tools entrusted to me, and my aim is to point beyond myself toward Him in the time I am given on this earth.”
