Daily Sun exclusively revealed that Boity has been hauled before the Johannesburg High Court by Leemark Financial Services, which is demanding payment of an outstanding amount linked to the purchase of her R4,2 million property in Tshwane.

Reacting to the unfolding legal storm, Boity told Daily Sun she was stunned by the move. “They want to sell my house. You just ruined my day,” she said, expressing disbelief that a default judgment was being pursued against her.

The legal drama comes just weeks after the star shared snapshots from a glamorous Dubai getaway, giving fans a glimpse of her jet-set lifestyle. Court papers seen by Daily Sun show that Leemark Financial Services has applied for judgment against Boity. If granted, the order could allow the company to attach and auction her home should the debt remain unpaid.

Leemark’s Mark Lauth stated in an affidavit that Boity bought the Centurion property on 5 August 2021 after signing an agreement of sale in Roodepoort. The house was later registered in her name on 30 March 2022.

Lauth claimed that although Boity paid more than R3,7 million towards the purchase price, she allegedly failed to settle the remaining balance. “The defendant paid an amount of R3 708 187 in part settlement of the purchase price, leaving a balance of R491 813, which amount remains unpaid and outstanding,” he said.

The lender has since applied for a default judgment that would allow the property to be sold if the amount is not settled. According to the papers, Lauth said several letters were sent to the model and reality TV star requesting payment, but she allegedly did not respond.

He added that if Boity intends to challenge the claim, she must file a notice of intention to defend within 10 days. Failure to do so could result in judgment being granted against her without further notice. Lauth confirmed that his lawyers have already been instructed to pursue a default judgment and claimed Boity has not approached him to discuss a possible settlement. He also hinted that the dispute involves more than just the original bond amount, but declined to go into detail.
