The captain of Arsenal Football Club Bukayo Saka has reacted to his team’s disappointing result against Wolves in the Premier League.
The League leaders failed to capitalise on the extra game they had in hand when they faced bottom league side Wolves at the Molineux on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Arsenal led the game for the most part but were unable to cross the finish line as they dropped vital points in their quest to win the Premier League.
Bukayo Saka spoke in an interview after the game, where he was asked if the team was under pressure following the recent run of results.
He said,
“Pressure? I don’t think about all of that. I think we just need to get back to our level. Do the basics right, we’ve got more than enough quality in this team to win games, especially the games where we’ve been dropping points recently”.
It has been a disappointing week for every stakeholder at Arsenal Football Club as they have seen their nine-point lead drop to four points having played a game more than Manchester City.
Arsenal’s next two games will be key in their quest to win the Premier League as they will face their London rivals, Tottenham and Chelsea in the London derbies.
