The Stormers recorded the second-highest average attendance across Europe’s three major leagues (Top 14, URC and Premiership) during the regular season.
According to a list compiled by The Rugby Paper, the Cape club attracted an average of 26,153 fans – behind only French Top 14 club Bordeaux Bègles – and made the biggest gains per match on the previous season (3,269).
The Stormers also had the third-biggest crowd (52,087 vs Sharks).
