Chad Da Don Confirms Release Date For Upcoming Single “Jane Doe.” Chad Da Don is making his way back into the South African hip-hop conversation with an upcoming release titled “Jane Doe.” His mother, Norma Mansoor, confirmed the rapper’s return in a social media post, sharing a cinematic teaser that offers a glimpse of his next move.
Mansoor shared the announcement on October 19, posting a brief but direct message: “@ChadDaDon is back 13/11/2026 #JaneDoe.” The post was accompanied by a striking visual that builds anticipation around the rapper’s return.
The release is scheduled to arrive on November 13, 2026, giving listeners a date to look forward to as the rollout begins to take shape.
The announcement is also notable for coming directly from Mansoor. Her concise caption confirms her son’s return without revealing too much, allowing the teaser’s visuals to speak for themselves.
Chad Da Don‘s return adds another interesting development to South African hip-hop, with listeners now waiting to see what he has prepared. The announcement marks another chapter in Chad’s career, which stretches back more than a decade.
One of the early milestones in his career was “Hola,” his collaboration with Cassper Nyovest, which helped introduce him to a wider audience and led to his association with Family Tree Records. He later branched out independently, establishing DCM Entertainment and taking greater control of his music and creative direction.
In 2016, Chad released his debut album, The Book of Chad, a deeply personal body of work shaped by his life experiences and the challenges he faced growing up. The album offered listeners a closer look at his story, laying the foundation for the music that followed.
He continued building on that foundation with Stay in Your Lane in 2019, and Dreams Don’t Sleep in 2020. The latter featured collaborations with artists including YoungstaCPT, Blaklez and PdotO, while showcasing his ability to move between lyrical rap, Motswako influences and more melodic sounds. His catalogue subsequently expanded with releases such as Sativa, Matthew 22:14, Indica and Psalm 23 in 2021 and 2022.
More recently, Chad has continued releasing music and collaborating with fellow artists. In May 2026, he released “AMEN,” featuring PdotO, adding another entry to a discography that has moved across different sounds and themes over the years.
